A two weeks Security workshop held on the basis of Fire Prevention, Ghana Red Cross Society First Aid, Ghana Police" Investigative Procedure and UNHCR mandate about Refugee. A  course workshop training sponsored by the UNHCR. In such it benefited some members of the AWCAF Organization at the Buduburam Refugee Settlement in Accra Ghana.


 Moreover, these children has no helping hands and this Organization have been doing considerebly well and great in helping to give these dying children their future prospects. 

 PROGRESS REPORT

The organization was able to have made a significant impact by finding a temporary center for the children but at least three to four (3-4) hours everyday, with volunteers including males and females. The organization have been able to have gather about sixty two (62) children in which four of them are handicaps, three are victims of teenage pregnancy and sixty percent of the children are not in school. 

In February 2008, the organization were able to have fed the amount of five hundred (500) children and give to the most needed women over forty bags of rice with cooking oil and other inclusive. However, with the help of an overseas humanitarian entity, Youth With A Mission (YWAM) German Team to Ghana 2008, through the awcaf organization were able to have assisted those with medical problems in which two people have benefited already while one is still pending surgical operations to be done at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra Ghana. The organization was also able to have freed about three persons from Police custody. AWCAF organization is registered with license so far from the (LWRC) department.  However, we also help in the field of sanitation improvements.

 REQUEST

It ‘s against this background that this unique organization have developed a strong faith, if giving the necessary support local and internationally to embark on our Aims and Objectives, the organization is strongly and firmly in the position to cater to the problems of these Women and Children base on the varieties listed below that have been requested of: 

1.     Education   2. Skills Training such as,   a. carpentry   b. Building Construction   c. Cater   d. Interior designing    3. Food, Safe drinking water, Shelter, Medication, and Clothing.  

                                           

Theresa is said to be a handicap and a beneficiary of awcaf organization in accra ghana

 Orphan" handicap boy who suffered over the years lacking of assistances to have a new walking stake or crutches. Thomas as he is called was born with the condition of a handicap. His care taker is a widow and moreover one who also lack of helping hand to help cater for the handicap orphan.
